A powerpoint and two worksheets on the differences between civil and criminal law. Suitable for courses at level 3 including A level law and Access laws. There is a student copy and teacher copy of the worksheet with answers. The worksheet is designed to accompany the Youtube clip on the topic created by e-lawresources and students will need to watch the video to complete the first worksheet. The first worksheet is a table to fill out whilst watching the video. The second worksheet is considering the case of Revill v Newbery and applying knowledge on the differences in civil law and criminal law. The 5 question starter on the power point relates to the differences to rules, norms and laws. This can be changed if you have not yet studied this topic. The lesson should take approx 60 mins. There are suggested timings in the powerpoint at the end of the slide. In addition to the starter, there are 4 tasks and a plenary.
