It includes colourful slides to help teach the theory and activities throughout to help students consolidate learning. It covers key terms, adaptations, competition, food chains, predator prey graphs, quadrats, transects, deforestation, peat bogs, global warming and includes extra slides to explain indicator species (not on syllabus but important for students to know). A work sheet is available for students to read and conclude their understanding about obesity and exercise. There are exam questions at the end of the power point. There is a worksheet for obesity and one for correlation and causal relationships. To help students there is a student check list which they can use at start and end of topic to show happiness with learning. Pack of exam questions and mark scheme for assessment at the end of unit.

I put these sheets together to work through how to calculate SD, SE and Student T-Test for my A level Biologists. It is an easy to follow format and can then be used to answer the questions attached. Individual class packs for the statistical tests (SD, SE and Student t test) follow on from the helpsheet. Can be set in class or for homework. I also use them as a review before the exams. My biologists found it very straight forward, easy to follow and then went on to ace their stats questions. Hope it could be helpful to others.

This resource was made for my students to follow a comprehensive lesson on Blood Glucose Control. It shows Diabetes, the symptoms and how medical staff test for blood glucose levels. It includes clinistix, blood glucose testing and blood glucose monitoring devices. The worksheets include a revision card, a quick test and an activity. This resource works really well when students carry out the Urine stick test practical. An important fil-in help sheet is included for the practical.
