A set of spelling lists for the school year which I have used with Year 6. It is a mixture of statutory lists and vocabulary/spelling rules which I have found useful at this age in mixed ability prep school classes. Lists are each 25 words long, with children learning the first 15 or 20 or the full list, depending on ability. I hope it is useful, perhaps to someone working in a school that isn’t using a scheme. 20 home learning ideas for the summer break. Tasks are varied, including: writing, math, creative and social-emotional skills. Provide as a handout for children to select from.
