Animal activity - place the name with the animal, animal on the correct habitat, write a story.

I have designed this as a basis for creative writing. Ask the children to place the animal name card with the animal picture card and then place those cards on to the correct habitat background. Once they have done this, ask the children to choose an animal and a setting e.g., 'lion' and 'jungle', they can then begin by naming the animal (lion) and describing the habitat (jungle) as a basis to a story. They can then choose a second animal to introduce in to the story from the same background as a second character. 4 x Background pictures A3 (can be printed as A4), 24 x animal name cards, 24 x animal picture cards. (Requires some cutting out).
