The resource consists of six sets of worksheets to support the teaching of subtraction using written methods. They are ideal for independent work in class, and there are enough for homework and revision purposes. The different levels of difficulty allow for a high level of differentiation by ability.
The folders are organised as follows:
2 digit subtraction with no regrouping/borrowing (x5)
3 digit subtraction with no regrouping/borrowing (x5)
4 digit subtraction with no regrouping/borrowing (x5)
2 digit subtraction with regrouping/borrowing (x5)
3 digit subtraction with regrouping/borrowing (x5)
4 digit subtraction with regrouping/borrowing (x5)
There are 20 questions on each sheet. Answer sheets are included.
There are two pelmanism-style matching games in this PowerPoint - one with animal vocabulary, and the other family vocabulary. The games can be used in two ways. By clicking the show/hide buttons, all the pairs of French and English words are displayed This screen can then be used as a classroom matching exercise when pupils are first learning the vocabulary. Once they are sure of the words and their meaning, they can play the memory game. The numbers on the front reveal French and English words when clicked. If matching pairs are discovered, they are left showing. If not, clicking the words brings back the numbers. A fun starter or plenary activity for KS2/3.
