My passion for learning has pushed me to have a greater impact in education and have developed myself accordingly in order to accomplish this. Thus, co-chairing a supplementary school in Islington which provides Kurdish language, arts and culture and Maths lessons. Working in Chingford Foundation School, I have accumulated a wealth of experience and have developed myself within the SEN department. Coaching the year 7&8 girls’ football as well as interpreting for Turkish speaking parents/carers and overseeing KS4 H/W club has also given me leadership skills alongside leading within the classroom. Whilst completing my schools direct training, I was placed on the ‘Aspire’ programme to enhance my practice to become an outstanding teacher. I aim to continue developing my pedagogy and instil a love of learning. Currently, I hold a ks4 and ks5 sociology and psychology teacher position alongside teaching religious studies to ks3. I manage the girls football team and run a Sociology Club.
