This is an EDITABLE End of Term Spanish Christmas Quiz with 41 QUESTIONS that will take your students through different Spanish traditions, giving them an understanding of food, different expressions and customs around the Holiday. The quiz has 6 rounds (multiple choice, verdadero/falso, guess the word, anagrams, ¿Qué hay en la foto?, fill in the blank) and its main purpose is to develop a wider understanding of Spanish traditions at Christmas as well as develop every student´s cultural awareness and critical thinking through different tasks. Each question has an automatic 45s timer and students get an answer sheet to write down their answers. The quiz can be done individually but also in teams to encourage some healthy competition! A vocab sheet also comes with the resource with all the words that they need throughout the quiz if you believe your students could use the extra support. I don’t recommend using it for the first two rounds as that would be too easy but it is up to you how you make use of the vocab sheet. It is also editable so you can add/delete any words you like. The quiz has 5 rounds (translations, true/false, multiple choice, fill in the blank + bonus questions) and it tackles misconceptions and also brings out key vocabulary learnt throughout the whole year. It’s a great retrieval tool and each question comes with an answer afterwards. Each question has an automatic 45s timer and students get an answer sheet to write down their answers. The quiz can be done individually but also in teams to encourage a bit cooperation as well as competition. Christmas End of Term Escape Room - If you’re looking for a fun way to end the term, look no further! This Escape Room is designed to give your students 40+ minutes of engaging and competitive time with their peers as they solve each puzzle in order to find the missing Christmas presents. The Christmas Escape Room includes 7 TASKS that students must go through in order to find the presents. By working in teams of 3-5, your pupils will be using a variety of skills throughout the lesson, such as: problem-solving skills, critical thinking, teamwork, communication and even some maths skills! Students will start by reading out a message left by an elf who is requesting their help in finding the missing Christmas presents. From then on, you will give each team the first task and when you receive a correct answer the second task can be given and so on, until they figure out where the presents are hidden. WHAT YOU GET: ☞ Escape Room Slides (PDF) -You can keep tasks on the board for students to better see them.
