I’m Mrs McErlean, from Scotland, UK and Food Studies teacher (Home Economics) in a secondary school. Being able to cook for yourself is one of life's skills. I'm passionate about food and love teaching my students how to cook and appreciate home-cooked food. I came into teaching later in life having worked as a chef and catering manager. I left catering because of the long hours and worked as a bookkeeper and as an administrator.
