‘What is the most significant reason Charles I was so unpopular’. Question used for Year 7 mixed ability class. Students are given 2 model answers - one agree and one disagree. Also provided a key for the break down of each section of the question. Students are also given space on the sheet to provide an amended answer.

Revision or Feedback lesson on Elizabethan England. Question 1 - features of parliament, and features of the Privy Council. Question 2 - Explain why Elizabeth executed Mary Queen of Scots. Question 3 - Religion is the main reason for the revolt of the Northern Earls, how far do you agree? Lesson and worksheet/booklet is attached and can be adapted. Used for year 9 mixed ability group.

Feedback Sheet used for RE/History lesson. Focusing on the Holocaust following 2 questions - Q1. What ways did the Nazis dehumanise the Jews. Q2. What ways did the ghettos, concentration camps, death camps contribute to the Final Solution. Used with a year 9 mixed ability group, could be adapted for specific abilities or for different year groups.

Question given to Year 7’s was why did Henry break from Rome? Students needed to be able to choose a reason why Henry broke away from Rome and what the most important reason for this was.

2 Questions: Describe the features of the Trinity and Explain why people considered Jesus the Son of Man/Son of God. Created for Year 7’s and used on a a mixed ability group, can be amended to suit the needs of another group or a more specific ability range. Includes 2 model answers, the second answer is enlarged so that students can annotate the answer and then there is space for students to write their own paragraph underneath.

Britain and Warfare Year 12/13 Revision Notes. Summary of the impact of the Political and Social changes that occurred after the Boer War and the impact these had on the people of Britain. Written in the form of a revision summary sheet.

Introduction to the ancient gods, including their myths, their powers, and depictions within current modern media and retellings. 48 slides on over 14 gods.

Feedback sheet created on the Norman Conquest of England. Question focuses on the most important reason William won was his tactical skills within battle. The feedback sheet has a poor model answer and a good model answer. The answers have large spaces so that they can be annotated by the students, and then a separate box for students to rewrite their own answers. Created for a mixed ability year 7 class but can be adapted.

Model Answer for KS3 Question - who changed Britain most? Students had 3 groups - Normans, Saxons, and Romans.

History Heads-Up Game based off the medicine through time topic. Cards included cover a range of individuals, time periods, and medical key words. Students can use these for revision or as a quiz game.

Heads Up Game based on the Anglo-Saxon revision. Resources include a variation of cards that can be printed and laminated to allow for students to play Heads Up and revise.

Elizabethan England Heads-Up game. Students can use this as revision or can use it as a quiz game.
