Valentine’s Day ideas to practise self-love. It has four different activities (two are reading based, one is speaking and the last one is a writing) and it includes answers.

It can be used with students in Years 9, 10 or 11, depending on their level. If used with Year 11 students, Foundation classes would benefit more as it may be too easy for Higher groups (although good revision for them). It focuses on ‘gustar’ style verbs. This is an A Level vocabulary list based on the second topic in theme 1 (Edexcel specification). It is not a long one, just a few words divided in three categories: adjectives, nouns and verbs. There are also some translations into English and into Spanish so that students can put those words into practice. It can be used as homework or as support for less able or disorganised students.

Conditional tense practice with the topic of ‘mi ciudad’. Students practise this tense and write what they would improve in their town. Could be used as homework.
