Looking for different ways to help students, I saw on Twitter the idea of a ladder reflecting elements needed for grades. It starts with an easy present tense sentence and finishes with a sentence which includes an indirect object pronoun. It can be used at the start of a lesson, to test how much students know on a particular subject or can be given as homework for students to work independently.
