MODEL ANSWERS GCSE 150 word tasks for Unit 4 - Customs and festivals. I have found that along with reutilising SMASHED IT (available on TES) and a SURVIVAL GUIDE (also available from my shop), modelling is the best way for students to get a grasp of what makes a top grade 8-9 text and guarantees success when it comes to their writing as they can manipulate chunks and “borrow” segments. This of course, is not just a copy and paste activity at all but rather to give the students a WAGOLL and also “inspiración” for their own work in their GCSE 1-9 writing exam.
