It also looks at the significance of the victory for Elizabeth. Ends with a 12 mark question, with a model answer for students to annotate.

This lesson looks at the reasons behind the Bloody Code being introduced. It includes the game quick on the draw, which is ideal for team building, testing literacy skills and extracting key information.

Students will look at the key events, before deciding who was to blame for the escalation and the impact this had on the Cold War.
