Mathematics
Year 6 Order of Operations (BIDMAS)
A double lesson that focuses on being able to use the order of operations. Included is a PowerPoint for the two lessons that includes an arithmetic starter as well as an activity with answers and three challenge activities for those that are confident.
The Big Book of Times Tables
Get 323 pages full of times table related activities and help sheets.
Starting with the 2 x tables and working up to the 12 x tables, find:

Year 6 Maths Practice Paper
36 question practice paper for Year 6 ahead of the statutory assessments that combines both elements of the arithmetic paper and problem solving and reasoning. Questions have been taken from a range of sources including some examples from previous papers to help prepare children for some of the types of questions they may come across.
Converting Lessons (mm, cm, m, km, g, kg, ml and l)
Four lessons that focus on being able to convert between different units of measurement, weight and capacity. Included for each lesson is the lesson presentation that includes starter questions as well as support and challenge bubbles. There is also a worksheet that includes answers and a place value grid to support learning.
5 Times Table Mastery Check
10 questions that check children's understanding of the 5 times table through more complex methods than just giving them a 5 times table test. Included are word problems, reasoning questions and showing the relationship between numbers.
7 Times Table Reasoning Activities
Activities that require children to use known facts to then be able to reason how to solve other calculations. Each page gives children a known fact and then calculations where the numbers have been manipulated and a box where they can explain how to use the known fact to find the answer.
Adding and Subtracting Fractions (Lesson Presentations)
Two PowerPoint's that focus on being able to add and subtract fractions. The first one looks at being able to add and subtract when the denominator is the same, modelling and working through a range of questions. The second PowerPoint then focuses on adding and subtracting when the denominator is different, modelling and working through a range of questions.
Year 6 Mini Arithmetic Tests
Mini Arithmetic tests made for Year 6 children to give them a chance to practise an Arithmetic style paper. These have been made as mini tests with 10 questions on each as a quick opportunity to practise different questions, become used to the grid and to increase their speed through regular practise.
Adding and Subtracting Fractions Worksheets
A number of worksheets that check children's fluency with adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator or different denominator by getting them to fill in the missing circles to complete the calculation. This includes simple ones as well as adding steps to the calculation process.

Complete set of planning, slides and worksheets for place value x2, the four operations, fractions, algebra, area, perimeter and volume and measurements that provide 69 lessons. This has been written with Year 6 in mind but the resources are easily adaptable for other year groups.
The worksheets have written with mastery in mind and so follow the following structure:

Worksheets are differentiated three ways with a mastery aim running throughout. Having used a similar format in my own lessons, these sheets often provide enough challenge for two days lessons, with children taking on the easier work then moving on to harder challenges within the other sheets.
These have all been made with mastery in mind and so follow this pattern.

KS2 Maths Angel of the North Questions
A set of questions based on the Angel of the North question from the KS2 2018 Reasoning 3 paper.
Missing Values Activity (Based on KS2 SATs)
A PowerPoint and example questions that stem from the hexagon question from the 2018 KS2 Maths Reasoning 2 paper where children were given the value of two lots of shapes and had to work out that the difference was a missing hexagon.
Emergency One Off Cover Lessons (Supply Teacher Aid Kit)
Included are one off lessons/ starter resources that can be used in those times where someone isn't in/ if you're a supply teacher who hasn't been left any planning. These are aimed at Key Stage Two, particularly for 5/6 with more lessons added as it develops.
KS2 Maths SATs Question Review/ Practice
A range of previous KS2 SATs questions from the reasoning papers where children have found these challenging. Each one includes a PowerPoint to look at the method and getting children to identify where the most efficient method is before getting them to work through some practice questions so they can apply the learning and become more confident.
2017 KS2 Arithmetic Test with mistakes
The KS2 Arithmetic paper for 2017 completed with all the answers being wrong. The aim is then for children to work through and identify mistakes/ what the correct answer is. Many of these are based on misconceptions or silly mistakes that children make.
Rounding - Twitter Followers
An activity that gets children to round statistics based on the top 10 followed people on Twitter to help with engagement whilst also getting children to consider how to round up or down appropriately depending on the number e.g. rounding 112,543,124 to the nearest million rather than to the nearest 10.
For each one, children will cut out the slip and stick it in their book. They will then have to decide whether it is appropriate to round to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, 10000, 100000 or 1000000. Once they have rounded these they will then write an explanation of why they rounded to that number.

Year 4 - What is a fraction? (White Rose Maths)
A lesson or two lessons worth of slides (depending how much time you spend discussing and exploring using models and manipulatives) that focuses on the objective from Year 4 Spring WRM for what a fraction is. Included are different representations and examples and non-examples to discuss as well as some of the questions from the WRM document.
