I am a KS2 teacher that specialises in Dance. I currently teach whole school dance from EYFS to UKS2 within my setting. Outside of school I specialise in contemporary and tap dancing. This shop is to help those without Dance experience to find ideas for their own Dance topic planning.

Medium term planning used for Year 3 & 4 Dance based on the theme of Mission Impossible. Children worked through ‘spy training’ and achieved a certificate (not provided) at the end of the sessions for completing.

Used for BFG week in Year 3, a mixture of computing, geography and English lessons. English - The children were shown clips of the BFG new film and discussed and described the locations verbally using adjectives, adverbs etc. Geography - Discussed which country they could be in. Linked to UK topic, the UK countries and the locations being in Scotland. Computing - Input the addresses into Google Maps using street view, explored the locations and wrote down onto the worksheet adjectives for what they could see.

I used this for my Year 3 class to count up in fractions during a BFG week. The work displays Snozzcumbers split into amounts with a number line underneath. They they had to write the fraction for how much the BFG would have eating moving up the number line. Mixture of fractions and whole numbers. Two abilities.

A worksheet I created for my class for a BFG themed week on fractions. Write fractions the dream jars are split into. Write down what fraction of the dream fills the jar. (eg. 1/4, 2/3) Shade in the dream jar for the fraction given. Two levels of differentiation.
