Students will read but also solve vocabulary puzzles and write postcards. Very engaging but also full of content. ►LEARNING OUTCOMES◄ GENERAL: Students will learn plenty of new vocabulary words through engaging and challenging activities. They will work individually, in pairs or in small groups to include variety in lesson dynamics. SPECIFIC: This mini unit is all about spectacular holiday destination. The 5 articles are about Mauritius, Fiji, Tenerife, Greece and Madacascar. Students will learn about tourist attractions and the beauties of such places. They will engage in 5 different activities to learn new vocabulary words. After that they will write postcards. I have organized my class into 5 teams around 5 stations, having one article each. Students had between 10 to 15 minutes to complete one task before moving to the next stations.
