These resources are on the Duration of STM and LTM.
A whole class activity where students carry out the ‘Brown-Peterson Technique’. This is based on Brown Lloyd and Margret Peterson (1959) study on the duration of STM. The purpose of this class experiment is to show that information held in STM memory is limited to less (average) 18-30 seconds when information is not rehearsed.
