These is a paired/group activity that follows on from my You Tube video: Sing it, sign it, tap it, play it! do-re-mi songs Cut out the ‘building blocks’ and choose four to make up your melody. Try different ideas. Which blocks work well as the opening? Which makes your melody sound finished? When you’re happy with it, stick the four building blocks down. Can you write out your melody on a stave?
