Year 5/6 whole class guided reading (1 week) - Talking Turkeys poem

This resource is for years5/6 whole class guided reading. It focuses on a different skill each day and includes answers. It’s made a real difference to the level of reading in my class. You will need to download the poem ‘Talking Turkeys’ online, but it’s easy to find for free. The idea is to teach the skills and then take away the support a bit more each day so that by Friday, the children work independently.
