A simple worksheet that asks students to identify the silhouettes of cities from around the world and locate them on a world map. Two exercises are presented, one for the more able students with no clues, the second with the names of the cities at the top from which students can match up with each silhouette. A blank world map is included with each exercise. An answer sheet is also provided. Might be useful as a lesson filler/starter or homework exercise. Also could be used as a quiz night activity.

These worksheets I have used to get some meaningful sharing of geographic ideas, issues or problems in my Geography lessons. These worksheets require the students to record their thoughts and to negotiate shared ideas within groups of two, four or six to arrive at a group position which can then be shared with the whole class.
