I have taught for 11 years - 5 years in 3rd and 4th grade and 6 years as a reading interventionist. I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I am also certified through the Praxis in Early Childhood Education. Since completing my Master's Degree, I also have my K-12 Reading Specialist Certificate. I love learning opportunities where students can get up and move around. While my students do complete worksheets, I often have a twist or unique way for them to complete it. As a result, they are more actively engaged and enjoy learning more. I also use hands-on activities, technology, and cooperative learning to keep my students engaged
