The secondary school believes that all lessons should be stimulating, enjoyable and innovative. A wide variety of teaching strategies help personalise learning to ensure students are able to access the full curriculum, thereby encouraging creative and independent approaches to learning.
Cardinal Allen Catholic High School provides residential trips within the UK, Europe and even as far afield as India and the USA. All these trips have educational themes. In addition, there are frequent day visits to centres of specific educational interest that relate to all areas of the national curriculum. These opportunities are available to all pupils.

Students behave outstandingly well. They are courteous and polite, relate very well to each other and to adults and are very happy at school. They are very enthusiastic about learning. This contributes significantly to their good progress. Attendance has improved significantly and is above average. Students feel very safe.”
