Values and vision
Chichester Free School’s motto is “Nurture, Challenge, Inspire”, and this is reflected in the curriculum provided by the school. Students are encouraged to develop a high level of self-confidence and independence, and the wide-ranging curriculum is intended to allow pupils every possible chance to pursue their own interests. As part of this, sporting activities play a huge role in the life of the school, with a large extra-curricular programme available.
“At Key Stage 3 pupils make good progress and attain well in English and mathematics. The proportion of pupils making more than expected progress is higher than average. More-able pupils achieve well. They demonstrate a keenness to learn in lessons, and their responses to teachers’ challenging questions shows good knowledge and understanding.”
