Values and vision
Oasis Academy Immingham’s mission is: ‘Every Child Will Make Good Progress.’ The school’s work is motivated and inspired by the life, message and example of Christ. It recognises the richness that spiritual and cultural diversity brings to its school community and respects the beliefs and practices of other faiths. The academy will provide a welcoming environment for pupils of all faiths and those with none.
Oasis Academy Immingham recognises that people are stronger together and values collaboration. The academy aims to develop an understanding and tolerance of each other through knowledge, mutual respect, believing the best and forgiveness. It states individual rights will be respected and choice will be exercised within a culture of self-discipline.
“Oasis Community Learning Trust, governors and the principal share a common, high level of ambition for pupils to thrive in the school. Pupils make increasingly good progress from their starting points. Good teaching and the carefully planned curriculum enable pupils to acquire the skills, knowledge and understanding they need across a range of subjects. The sixth form is led well. Provision is good and learners are prepared well for their next steps in education, training or employment.”
