About Regent High School
Location and surroundings
Regent High School is located in vibrant Camden, minutes from both Euston and St Pancras International Stations, giving easy access to the whole of London’s cultural and leisure opportunities. The school’s state-of-the art building opened in 2014 and offers an inspiring working environment. Regent High School became the first school to be a member of the King’s Cross Knowledge Quarter, and is currently the only secondary school member. We work closely with a number of Knowledge Quarter partners, including the British Library, Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, University of the Arts London, The Francis Crick Institute, the Wellcome Trust and others to provide additional opportunities for students, staff and parents/carers.
Driving to Regent High School is discouraged. We are served by excellent transport links. Parking around the school is limited and can be expensive. Very limited on-site parking is available by prior arrangement for applicants with a specific need.
Regent High School is a short walk from the mainline train and Underground stations at Euston, St Pancras International and King's Cross. Additionally, the London Underground station at Mornington Crescent is a few minutes' walk from the school. A number of buses stop close to the school: the 46 and 214 on Crowndale and Pancras Roads; the 168 and 253 on Eversholt Street, and the 10, 30, 59, 73, 91, 205, 390, 476 stop outside the British Library or St Pancras International Station on Euston Road. The Transport for London (TfL) website provides more information about travelling around London and a Journey Planner tool.
Regent High School is an 11-19 co-educational comprehensive school, based in the heart of London, committed to developing confident individuals ready for success in the 21st century. Our £25 million, RIBA Award-winning building provides a world-class learning environment, rich in facilities and resources, granting unrivalled opportunities to our aspirational students and providing an excellent environment for staff. We provide our students with an exceptional education, taught by talented, enthusiastic and motivated teaching staff. Our challenging and stimulating lessons are designed to ensure all students achieve and exceed their full potential, while our rich extra-curricular opportunities encourage students to develop their leadership skills, resilience and initiative.
Our thriving Sixth Form sees a significant number of students progressing each year on to higher education, with many gaining places at Russell Group universities. As part of our passion for developing confident and ambitious leaders, we provide all students with the support and guidance they need to become determined and assertive young adults, ready for successful future careers. True to our values as a pioneering and innovative school, we provide opportunities for our students to mentor their younger peers, become Student Leaders, gain election to the School Council, and undertake regular enriching trips and visits, often organised with our network of partners from primary schools, leading businesses, cultural organisations, higher education institutions and the local community. We are constantly aiming to expand these partnerships further, increasing the variety of enrichment on offer for our students and truly positioning ourselves at the heart of the local area and beyond.
