Tenby International School – Setia Echohill is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, independent, all-through school with sixth form, in Malaysia, serving students from the age of 3-18. The all-through school is situated in Semenyih, Selangor. It belongs to the Tenby Schools Group, an expanding group of six international and Malaysian private schools across the country.
Tenby International School – Setia Echohill is the latest of the six schools, having opened in 2016. The building offers facilities including tennis courts, football fields, a swimming pool, art rooms, music rooms, a café and computer suites. Students are taught from a British inspired curriculum and go on to study towards IGCSE exams and International A levels.
Values and vision
Tenby International School – Setia Echohill’s vision is to unite all nations together to bring peace through learning. Pupils at the all-through school are taught the importance of accepting and respecting all nationalities and to understand their roles as global citizens in a culturally diverse society. The school wants all students to develop the core values of compassion, responsibility and integrity and to become independent, successful learners, who will go on to achieve their ambitions and goals in the future. Dedicated teaching staff nurture students as effective communicators and help them to uncover their individual talents and skills, encouraging them to develop them throughout their time learning by taking part in extra-curricular activities, which range from sports to music clubs. The school was awarded the Gold Award in the Private/International School category in the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Awards 2016, which was voted by Malaysians.
