Values and Vision
Tong Leadership Academy has a wide ranging vision encompassing educational excellence, aspiration, system leadership, cohesion and social mobility. It has a STAR values system - “Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Respect” - which involves taking care and responsibility for the community and instilling in pupils the qualities of being able to work together with mutual respect and of having high aspirations.
The school sets out to create an enjoyable, positive learning experience by creating a curiosity in it's students thus making them learners for life. Tong Leadership Academy adheres to the TET's vision of “Nurturing Today's Young People, Inspiring Tomorrow's Leaders”.
“The pastoral care for students is strong. Staff and governors care passionately for the welfare of students in their school. Students are safe in school.”
“Raised expectations across the school on non negotiable aspects of behaviour, put in place this academic year, are helping most students to focus on their learning.”
