Guten Tag! Bonjour! I taught French and German in Scotland for 25 years before early-retirement in 2025. Before that I spent five years teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, mostly in France but also in Italy and Romania. My ESOL experience underpinned all my later secondary teaching : the emphasis was on maximising learner-talking-time with a strong emphasis on fun activities like games and quizzes. I hope this comes across in the materials I have posted here. I now spend about an hour or two most weekdays, creating materials that I hope will save you time at home and buy you space in your lessons.
