I am a professional children's writer and have been writing educational books for children for more than 20 years. I write for all ages, but specialise in science for 7-9 years and in writing/literature for older students. I've taught English and writing at several UK universities, including Cambridge and York. I've written books for phonics and reading schemes, and for reluctant readers.
