By entering your payscale point and region, and factors such as pension contributions, student loan repayments. part-time fraction or childcare vouchers, you can get an idea of how much salary you’ll be left with. Based on the union-supported pay scales, which will not match all schools. Updated in March 2024 to take account of the proposed National Insurance and pension contribution band changes from April 2024.

In Word format, the form is editable, while a PDF version allows prints for worksheets to be written on. Targetted at Y7, these may be suitable for several year groups in KS2/3 Please note that the levelling guide is a first draft and may change. There are currently six investigations: one based on positive & negative numbers, one on sequences, one on area/perimeter, one on polyominoes, one on handling data, and the sixth on probability. A single A4 sheet giving examples of around 30 different persuasive techniques used by advertisers in particular. Each comes with an example of how it can be used by students to analyse or create texts with the purpose to persuade. The devices are placed into four categories ranging from * to **** depending on their complexity - I used this to encourage students to incorporate some of the more complex devices into their own work. This can be done through goal-setting, i.e. suggest that able writers must include a total of 15 *s in their work, etc.
