Follow on from the previous lesson and a great research lesson for the Higher Ability/ G&T students. Students are to use the information gathered from previous lesson research two different ecosystems. However, this can be differentiated well as lower ability students can compare two different ecosystems; i.e. Polar and Deserts and higher ability can compare two similar ecosystems; i.e. Deciduous and Coniferous Forests. Students are then to answer the key question: What are the characteristics of each ecosystem and how have plants and animals adapted?
