28. German: Revise conjunctions + longer sentences with modals

This is a Powerpoint presentation of 7 slides and is no.28 in a series of 60-minute lessons used by me to tutor a GCSE student via Zoom. The focus of each lesson is grammatical, rather than topic specific, and as such they can be slotted into topic work as required. In addition, each lesson attempts to extend the use of German to match the requirements of GCSE Higher Tier.

This presentation revises co-ordinating and subordinating conjunctions, explains word order when question words are used as conjunctions and shows how to build longer sentences by using modals. Along with grammatical explanations, there are slides for oral practice (Tic Tac Toe), translation sentences and a slide for pairs.
