Students will look at the data of 6 different countries and total the amount of hectares their cities have restored by adding the mixed numbers, leading to a total amount for each country to determine who receives the Green Ribbon for highest impact.
This activity also comes with 3 additional challenges to provoke higher order reasoning and develop mathematical thinking.
