Ofsted rated my art curriculum outstanding, stating that it is gold standard. This was May 2022.

My resources are aimed at Art subject leads but I appreciate other teachers may want to use them as well.

I have uploaded them after dozens of people contacted me after seeing them on a Facebook group for Art Primary Leads.

This is the document that is the most important out of all my art documents. It is the subject structure that explains very clearly what each year group will cover - why they cover it, when they cover it, what came before and what comes next. It is incredibly progressive and clear and also includes progression in tools for the four areas - painting, drawing, sculpture and collage. As well as this, the artist / time period to focus on is clear and progressive.

It is also important to note that alongside this document, we also provide the children a range of other opportunities to explore other ares of art with a lot more freedom over the mediums used as well as the areas to focus on.

Other documents I have for sale:

  • skills progression documents for drawing, painting, collage and sculpture from EYFS - Y6
  • artists / time periods to focus on in each of the four areas from EYFS - Y6
  • KS1 and KS2 teaching sequence
  • EYFS skills progression document
  • self assessment sheets for drawing, sculpture, collage and painting Y1-Y6. *The idea being that the staff & children look back at the previous year’s sheet before commencing a unit to remind them what they said they still wanted ton improve on. The children in particular find these incredibly useful.
