Bookflix Reading Display

Bring the excitement of streaming platforms into your reading area with this Bookflix themed reading display. Designed to encourage reading for pleasure, this engaging display helps pupils discover books that have also been adapted into films and television programmes.

All resources are available in either classic white and red lettering on a black background or red and black lettering on a white background, allowing for different printing preferences and reducing colour printing requirements.

For my own display, I designed the board to resemble the home screen of a streaming service, using images of books that have been adapted into films and television programmes. The “Are You Still Reading?” poster was used to showcase our current class reading book, while the themed decorations were placed around the display to create a cinema inspired atmosphere. Pupil book reviews were attached to relevant books to encourage recommendations and discussion about favourite stories.
