Complete set of 6 maths powerpoints for Year 6. Great for recall across the curriculum, a mixture of fluency, reasoning and problem solving. 300 questions.

This set are ideally used in the first half of the Spring term as this correlates with the learning they are expected to have done by then.

The questions offer planned variation over a week, so if there is a question on adding fractions on Monday, there will be a slightly more difficult question the following day, allowing them to use and apply their knowledge throughout the week, referring back to previous days.

These questions cover all areas of the curriculum across number, fractions, ratio, geometry, algebra and measurement. I use them first thing in the morning and they have proved amazing at helping children recall and retain knowledge.

Ideally, children attempt the questions individually, with a teacher running through the answers afterwards using visual representations in their explanations.

The sequence is loosely based around the WRM progression, meaning that if the learning hasn’t happened in their scheme of learning yet, it won’t come up. It does dip back into previous year groups to ensure children are still practising questions that you don’t have time to teach.

I’m also told by my children that the background makes them feel particularly relaxed in the mornings when they are doing their maths work!

10 questions a day, 5 days a week, 6 weeks per half term - that’s 300 questions in the bundle supporting their recall over areas of the curriculum that you’ve taught.
