A variety of bar models with the accurate calculation language to support children’s understanding of the four operations, to help them learn the correct and accurate language, whilst also building relational understanding between the different calculations. These resources are great for display, especially for children Year 2 and upwards as they can really support children developing their understanding of fact families and how the calculations connect.
Language in line with best practice and NCETM guidance. Also in line with and supports the Maths Mastery/Singapore Maths approach to teaching.
