Some background on how to write the numbers: 1,2,3 self explanatory…just lines stacked up on top of each other. number 4 is like a window (four sides with curtains), number five is actually 3 三 adding number 2 perpendicular to it 二,
top line sky , bottom line ground., six is the even number after four so it is the top of four ( window and curtains) plus a dot. seven used to be 7 lines , 8 is the lucky number for chinese people as it divides by 2 three times the symbol used for 8 means a fork (dividing way… divide and conquer …), 9 is the same as 7 it had 9 lines. Ten means complete . the middle line of number 3 means what is on Earth( between sky and ground in other words creation) So 10 means creation and heavens . All is complete.
