This is a worksheet activity where pupils choose a country (I suggest any other than England), and research it to complete the sheet.
Within this task, they:
- Draw the country’s flag
- Find basic facts (e.g. capital, currency, population, language, area)
- Describe where it is
- Find ‘interesting’ facts
- Find key places to visit in this place (link to tourism)
- Explain why they think it is a great country
This task was originally planned for a low attaining Year 7 cover lesson, but can be used however you would like!
