How I use this resource:

Have a dialogue with students first involved in the detention process. Let them know, you want to give them an opportunity to discuss the incident from their perspective. Hand out the Detention Reflection sheet to them and let them reflect on the questions. Give them free time and tell them to write as much as they want with maximum detail. Once they are done, discuss the form with them. Validate their learning and praise them if they make an effort to reflect. Follow up after the set time and re-visit their progress.

Empower yourself to transform detention into a platform for growth and development. Download this detention reflection worksheet today and witness the positive impact it can have on your students’ lives.
