One lesson that takes students through the relationship between voltage, current and resistance in electrical circuits. Students can practice the use of Ohm’s Law to rearrange the equation and carry out calculations to determine values of those unknown - good preparation for exam and non-exam assessments.
Recommend use of Hodder’s AQA GCSE (9-1) Engineering Textbook and/or Revision Notes. Alternatively, the internet may be used, e.g BBC bitesize.
Recommend use of Numeracy in Engineering worksheets from Attainment in Education - for further calculation exercises.
