This is a Y7 RE homework project designed to completed over the course of a half term (six weeks approx, 1-2 tasks per week for completion is recommended).
The project focuses on some aspects of the topic of festivals and is intended to supplement lessons. The content also gives an understanding of what underpins modern Christmas traditions - with reference to Saturnalia and Yuletide and their accompanying ancient (and presently much-borrowed) symbolism.
Please adapt as necessary, could be adjusted to suit other ages if needed.
