Generic activities that are adaptable for any guided reading book and easy to differentiate. I have used them during guided reading sessions, so children can work independently after having read the book.
Includes: sequencing activity, word finding activity, write sentence about picture from book, write what the character is saying. activities are help with comprehension and do not need much explanation so children can work independently.
You just need to add words from the books, or 'shrink' photocopy pictures from book that children have read and stick in 'box' or next to speech bubble.
I have included examples of comprehension activities that I have created for 3 specific books, so you can use them as 'templates' for other books.
