Geometry Measure Year 1/2 SEND Workstation Tasks

Simple cut and stick tasks related to basic measure concepts from Y1/2 curriculum.

Concepts include;

• "I can identify objects that are longer/shorter than a 1 metre rule. "
• “I can use the comparative language related to time e.g. Quicker/slower, earlier/later.”
• “I can make comparisons using more than/less than e.g. hotter/colder.”
• "I can use practical measuring apparatus, to find objects that are heavier/lighter than 500g, holds more/less than ½ litre. "
• “I can suggest appropriate standard equipment for measuring length (in any direction) and mass. e.g. choose a cm ruler, metre rule or trundle wheel/ balances,
  scales.”
