Full resources all here! Students are given the roles of different family members (a role for every student in a class of 30) and from these characters, families are made. There is a budget to use over a week, a blank cleaning rota, a crib sheet detailing fun activities and potential purchases (groceries) etc. A great and fun introduction to any unit in RE or PSHE on relationships. I used it to introduce the WJEC Relationships unit and it generated some fantastic discussion.

A good start of an idea, but this isn't useable as a stand alone lesson- there are no student outcomes or objectives. There is nothing to measure progress in this lesson.<br /> The idea is a good one- students are a family (10 different characters to choose from- you will need to group these according to the ability of the students you have to make reasonably viable families.) They move through a week with different challenges- there needs to be more specific information in the power point slides to help students who are in KS3. A good starting point.
