A series of activities that can be used to fill an entire Easter lesson, or to accompany a pre-prepared lesson. The activity focuses on putting different aspects of grammar into practice, along with trying to inspire the students to write creatively in Italian. The activities are as follows:

  1. Complete the sentences by conjugating the verb into the right tense and the right person. Then ask these questions to your neighbour and answer them spontaneously. This is good revision for the spontaneous element of the GCSE oral exam.
  2. Use the conditional tense to write/say 3 things you would do differently next Easter holiday.
  3. Complete the sentences with the correct pronouns and circle if they are true or false for you. (Matter of opinion)
  4. True or false speaking exercise - students are given statements and have to guess if the statement is true or false for their partner.
  5. Comprehension task about how Easter is celebrated in Italy.
  6. Write 80 words at least on how you celebrated Easter
