KS3 Activate "The Earth" Knowledge Organiser

This is a knowledge organiser which contains the fundamental principles from the ‘The Earth’ topic from KS3 Activate 2, Chemistry.
This would be suitable for a KS3 class studying separating mixtures from any syllabus.
I used this to support my year 8 class with writing their own flashcards as end of unit revision, but it could have many applications.
It is designed to be visual with diagrams to support the text and key vocabulary in bold.

**This knowledge organiser contains a brief overview of the following areas:

• The Earth’s atmosphere
• Sedimentary rocks
• Igneous rocks
• Metamorphic rocks
• The carbon cycle
• Global heating and the greenhouse effect
• Climate change

As the most recent lesson taught in the topic, I did not include the final lesson in the unit on ‘Recycling’.
