Learning, My Way | 7colour ClassPack | NCSE Relate

Learning, My Way is a child centred learning communication system informed by NCSE Relate and designed to support learner agency, communication and participation throughout the learning process.

The main three board system gives children meaningful opportunities to communicate about how they access learning, demonstrate understanding, reflect on their learning experience and contribute ideas about how learning could be approached.

Board 1: Let’s Learn establishes the learning goal and gives the child a clear way to communicate whether the proposed approach is ready to proceed.

Board 3: Let’s Work It Out Together creates a genuine space for adult and child collaboration when the proposed approach needs to be explored or adapted.

Board 2: Let’s Look Back supports accessible demonstration of learning and reflection on the experience.

The resource includes three learning boards, a Response Board, a Choice Library, seven colour options and a Teacher & SNA Guide.

Learning, My Way does not ask the child to choose the curriculum. The educator remains responsible for the learning goal, teaching, progression and assessment while the child has a meaningful voice in how learning is accessed, experienced and demonstrated.

Designed for autism class teachers, SNAs and any child who benefits from an accessible way to participate in learning.
