Although assessment is based around Bradwell in the Dark Peak, Peak District National Park, this resources is easily adapted for any location as all you have to do is change the answer sheet and one slide of the PPT. Pupils plan a route, similar to a Duke of Edinburgh route card, using direction, distance, duration, grid references. Plenty of scope for research and independent research. Best ran over two lessons.
