Methods in Context Revision Lesson

This lesson provides enough retrieval activities, practice tasks, and practice essays (2) to fill a double lesson.

It could be used to introduce MIC to Year 12, but it has been designed to recap and remind Year 13 of the key skills and mark bands for this tricky standalone Paper 1 question from the AQA spec.

Lesson contains:

• key term starter with answers

• key term retrieval (in your own words)

• 2 x essays with item, incl printable planning sheets

• key reminders of mark bands, participant features, and what to include in MIC paragraphs

• model paragraph with annotations

• ‘would you recommend?’ activity with 9 research scenarios and answer slides (this can also be found on p17 9f the MIC booklet in my shop, although booklet is not necessary as full activity is provided in these slides).
